Dear sea friends, I would like to ask how is the performance of the circular stockyard used in the coal preparation workshop of that coking plant? What measures are used in circular stockyards to prevent spontaneous combustion of washed coal?
I’ve heard of it, but I’ve never seen it; I’ve heard that power plants use this type of storage site frequently.
Circular stockyards are used at: Ningbo Asia Pulp & Paper Co., Fujian Kemeng Power Plant, Xiamen Songyu Power Plant, Henan Taixiang Thermal Power Plant, CNOOC Huizhou Refinery, Ningbo Zhenhai Petrochemical Complex, China Power Investment Baiyinhua Coal and Electricity Company in Inner Mongolia, Datang Baqiao Power Plant, Jinmei Group Changping Coal Washing Plant, Ningbo Steel Plant, China Resources Nanjing Thermal Power Plant, HuanDian Luohe Power Plant, Datang Xiaguan Power Plant, Huaneng Jinling Power Plant, Sinopec Puguang Natural Gas Purification Plant, and China Power Investment Zahanor Coal Mine, among others. Hehe, there are indeed many power plants! Measures to prevent spontaneous combustion of washed coking coal: 1. Reduce flammable substances in the coal, such as wood chips, rubber, and fabric scraps; remove any such debris if it is found. 2. Stack by sulfur content: Store high-sulfur coal separately to prevent it from catching fire on its own. 3. Regular temperature monitoring: Assign personnel to regularly measure the temperature of the coal pile; if the temperature exceeds 60°C, water should be sprayed to lower it. 4. Flammable coal should be given priority: When a certain type of coal exhibits one or more of the above conditions, it should be given priority in use.
