I encountered these two abbreviations at work. I found that EPC refers to being responsible for the “design, procurement, and construction” of a project. What word does each letter represent? I ran into EP again. What is the relationship between this abbreviation and EPC, and what do they each mean?

I agree with the explanation above; in actual construction, the owner sometimes chooses not to opt for EPC simultaneously, and may instead choose EP+C or E+PC, etc. However, the meaning of these terms remains the same.
