What procedures or qualifications are required to obtain an engineer’s certificate?

At least 1 year of experience is required, along with a bachelor’s degree or higher. The lower the educational level, the more working hours are required!

As far as I know, according to the regulations for assessing professional and technical titles: those with a bachelor’s degree can apply for the title of assistant engineer one year after graduation； Assistant engineers can be promoted to engineers after four years ； Engineers can be promoted to senior engineers after five years. For the aforementioned evaluation process, assistants/engineers can submit their applications to the local personnel bureau, while senior engineers should submit them to the provincial personnel bureau. Specifically, there are performance materials submitted by the organization, relevant papers, and scores from foreign language and computer exams, etc. If it’s a junior college degree, it might take a bit longer. If it is a registered engineer, one must pass the relevant examination; this examination is organized by the Personnel Bureau, and one can inquire with the local Personnel Bureau for details.
