The metal hose between the outlet of the slide valve oil pump in my catalytic unit and the slide valve actuator vibrates frequently; please discuss the reasons for this vibration. (Slide valve set to automatic control)
This should be a normal phenomenon; when this pipeline is functioning properly, oil keeps circulating continuously. Additionally, with the pump pressure being relatively high, vibration is bound to occur. The pipeline can be properly secured, and it would be better to reduce the pump pressure slightly.
During adjustment, the hydraulic oil drives the spool in motion; the oil pressure is usually between 8-14 MPa. Vibration should be a normal phenomenon, and this is also the case for us.
We also have a hose type, but the vibration isn’t that strong. The reason for the heavy vibration is likely an excessive pressure difference before and after the hose; could it be that there is an obstruction in the rear section? To solve this problem, it’s best to have the manufacturer take a look. Waiting for the original poster to explain the specific process.
Our hoses also vibrate; observations show that the vibration is greater whenever the control room adjusts the valve position, and there is no issue with the special valves either. So I think this is normal, as the pressure at the pump outlet reaches 10 MPa. Whenever adjustments are made, oil flows in on one side of the servo cylinder to increase the pressure, while oil on the other side is released back to the tank, creating a large pressure difference across the servo cylinder. This results in significant vibration in the oil pipes. If the spool valve isn’t adjusted, the high pressure at the pump outlet causes some of the oil to flow back to the tank through a pressure-reducing relief valve, thereby preventing the system pressure from becoming too high; this could be the reason for the vibration in the hoses.
I feel the same way. Recently, we experienced vibration at the outlet of the double-acting spool hydraulic oil pump; it was due to the use of rigid stainless steel pipes, and those pipes almost broke as a result, leading to an accident. In the end, we had to remove the exhaust fan, and only after that did the situation improve. We suspect there is a problem with the oil pump

Our double-acting slide valve is also an electro-hydraulic actuator; it seems to be manufactured by Lanlian. At the end of January, near the Spring Festival, one night the metal hose located on the west side of the double-acting slide valve, between the pump outlet and the actuator, burst. At that time the slide valve was in automatic mode, and the oil pressure was normal at 10 MPa. Fortunately, the other side was functioning properly. It was raining that night, so emergency repairs were carried out throughout the night, and the metal hoses on both sides were replaced with new ones. It is suspected that this was caused by long-term use and exposure to wind and rain. But it doesn’t vibrate much usually, so its service life should not have reached the point where it needs to be replaced; yet it still burst. Fortunately, the consequences were not too serious at that time
When there is no deviation between input and output, the voltage of the electro-hydraulic servo valve is 0, and there is no pressure difference between the two oil pipes. Only when the controlled parameter changes significantly in automatic mode, or when the PID parameters are not properly tuned, will the regulator’s output experience large fluctuations. If the voltage of the servo valve fluctuates, the valve keeps moving, and as a result the two oil pipes vibrate continuously.
