Which filler is suitable for the food alcohol industry?

For the distillation of edible alcohol, which packing is suitable? How effective is the mesh filler? What is the safety level of fillers commonly manufactured (lead-free and non-toxic)?
It depends on your requirements for precision. For higher precision, screen corrugated packing can be used, which yields better results; if the precision requirements aren’t that high, then plate corrugated packing will suffice. Screen packing is more expensive. As for the safety of the packing, there’s no need to worry at all. Many types of stainless steel can be used for tableware – so why not use them for packing as well?
