Does dynamic simulation still require special plugins?

Is it still necessary to install plugins when using ASPEN’s dynamic feature? It seems that the option for Aspen Dynamics in options --startup on the toolbar cannot be selected. If selected from setup, an error message will appear. Those who know please provide an answer. Thank you
There’s no need to install other plugins, but as far as I know, the simulation needs to be completed in Plus first before it can be imported into Dynamic.
Aspen Dynamic can run without the need to install any additional plugins. First, enter the data required for dynamic simulation into Aspen Plus, such as the shape and volume of the reboiler, as well as the liquid holdup on the tray layers, etc. After that, a file is generated; Aspen Dynamic then uses this file to analyze the relevant dynamic characteristics. I’m not very good at using it, so I hope someone experienced can give me some guidance. I’m also still in the process of learning about it
