Regarding the choice of drive type for large centrifugal compressors: 1. Motor, 2. Turbine, 3. Other. I would like to ask whether, in the case of turbine drive, a gas turbine driven by coal-derived gas can be used as a fuel for propulsion Is this reasonable? Compared to motor drive, which is more cost-effective at the same power level? Furthermore, for high-power compressors, what are some other cost-effective driving methods?
As far as I know, gas turbines use natural gas as fuel. Does the coal-based gas you mentioned refer to natural gas produced from coal, or synthetic gas? If it can be driven by syngas, it would indeed be a good driving method.
