Pilot projects using the space furnace were carried out in Puyang, Henan, and Linquan, Anhui; both of these projects were aimed at producing methanol. At the technical committee meeting of the Nitrogen Fertilizer Industry Association at the end of last year, the space furnace was highly recommended.
