Pressure gauge with an outer diameter of 14 connected to the pipeline

I’d like some advice=-=. I have a pressure gauge with an outer diameter of 14 (an integrated pressure gauge that includes a valve), and it needs to be connected to a pipeline. The main pipe in question is a DN25 304 stainless steel pipe. Can I simply make a hole in the pipe and insert the pressure gauge directly into it? It seems that this method might not be very secure, and it’s also not easy to implement. Are there any relevant standards that specify at what size of main pipe it’s acceptable to make a direct connection, and when a tee is required instead? Thank you!
I think it should be possible; there shouldn’t be any special requirements for the interface of pressure gauges with small diameters. That’s how it’s done on site! ! !
