If the gap between the protective plate and the furnace column is large, how should the small springs be adjusted? And if the furnace column is highly curved, how should the large springs be adjusted? Newbie seeking advice, thank you
It’s just a basic understanding; please feel free to correct me. One of the purposes of measuring a spring is to check whether its compression tonnage falls within the specified range; we can work with this \"range\". In some units, when measuring the curvature of steel columns, the spring is adjusted to the specified range right from the start, without making adjustments based on the actual curvature of the column. In my opinion, the curvature should be measured first before adjusting the springs. Special attention should be paid to steel columns with excessive or insufficient curvature. As long as the steel column does not suffer from permanent deformation, adjusting the upper and lower large springs as well as the small springs within the specified \"range\" will reduce the column’s curvature; otherwise, it will increase.
