Please let those who work at chemical engineering design institutes share their thoughts
It’s better to work in a power system or power design institute; it’s a mainstream field there with higher earnings
What about companies like Jinchengda that deal with electricity supply?
The electrical design field is quite good... it’s a supporting specialty, but it also has promising prospects... Go for it... Power design institutes are of course better, and Chengda is also an excellent option.
The field of power engineering is a supporting specialty; while there are opportunities in this area, it certainly doesn’t receive as much attention as the mainstream specialties. The top recommendation is definitely to enter the power industry. However, things don’t always go as one wishes, and if one still wants to pursue this path, it’s necessary to adjust one’s mindset and be able to tolerate loneliness
The power supply in Chengda isn’t very good; Chengda works in collaboration with the Southwest Electric Power Design Institute, and it does little work related to electricity itself. I hope the original poster will think carefully before making a decision~~~
Chengda has Class B qualification for power plant design, which generally means it is capable of handling the design of self-generated power stations. Does anyone know anything about Chengda Electric?
Chengda is a Class A comprehensive design firm; as long as it can cooperate with others on projects of 300MW or 600MW in size, it will have the qualifications to carry out such designs on its own. Chengda is already capable of handling EPC projects for 300MW projects. It would be good to work at Chengda in the field of power engineering, though working in the chemical industry would be even better. It’s generally difficult to get into large power engineering design firms – those who manage to get in are already the best ones.
