High-pressure ash water pumps, being multi-stage pumps, often experience failures during operation. If a backup pump cannot be started, the following are the emergency measures: 1. Reduce the load and contact the repair team. 2. Immediately close the valve of the high-pressure ash water pump leading to the scrubber tower. 3. Increase the flow rate of the condensate and the boiler feedwater valves in the water washing tower. 4. Shut off the low-pressure graywater flowing to the evaporative hot water tower, and switch to condensate and deoxygenated water. Stop the low-pressure ash water pump and the deoxidation water pump. 5. Accordingly, the quench water in the vaporization furnace and the volume of black water discharged should be reduced. 6. Increase the discharge volume of the true flash. 7. In manual mode of the lock hopper system, a branch from the quench water pump can be used for flushing.
