Safe handling of unknown chemicals!

We currently have about two kilograms of an unknown chemical; since its composition and potential hazards are unknown, we don’t know how to deal with it. Current status: Two sealed plastic bottles; I don’t dare to open them easily at the moment. Purpose: To render relatively unknown chemicals harmless and non-hazardous. Please help come up with some suggestions! Thank you!
It’s unclear what the chemical is; how should it be handled? It’s better to figure out what type of substance it is first before taking any action.
Check if there are any hazardous waste treatment centers in your province; consult them, pay them to handle the task, and it will be both secure and safe.
Hand it over to a qualified hazardous waste disposal company; do not handle it yourself.
Just hand it over to the fire department to handle it
For safety reasons, it is recommended to hand it over to the relevant professional handling department.
As far as I know, every city has a hazardous waste treatment center, which is under the supervision of the Safety Supervision Bureau.
That can’t be right; if it’s a highly toxic chemical, is it also handed over to the fire department? As far as I know, it should first be registered with the public security authorities before being given to a qualified entity for handling. But for these two bottles of materials in your unit, you don’t even know what they are exactly; surely there are no records in the ledger either. It is recommended that you first have the technical department inspect your materials to determine what substance they are, before making a decision on how to proceed.
Send it to the analysis and testing department to find out what it is, before taking any action.
