In the condensation and ventilation section of our plant, the vent pipes in the tank areas (mechanical clarification tanks, ammonia intermediate tanks, residual ammonia intermediate tanks, condensate intermediate tanks, underground tanks in these areas, etc.) remain open for long periods of time, releasing large amounts of irritating gases. I would like to ask my colleagues how they handle the exhaust gases from these vents – is there any system for collecting them centrally?
There’s no good solution for now; our factory is in the same situation.
For the exhaust gas from distributed pipes, our factory directs all of it to a scrubber tower, where it is cleaned using detergents such as cleaning oil before being discharged collectively.
The vent pipes of various storage tanks in the condensing and blower section of our plant (such as the circulating ammonia water intermediate tank, the excess ammonia water intermediate tank, the excess ammonia water tank, the submersed tank in the tower area, and the underground tank in the tank area) are all collected together and led to the negative-pressure gas pipeline in front of the blower. Of course, automatic pressure balance adjustment is required.
What we design now all lead to the exhaust cleaning tower for washing and collection
This has been around for a long time already. Our factory follows the practices of Pangang in this regard; I suggest you go and take a look there. At present, we only use tail gas washing to handle the tar emissions

Could there be problems such as pipe blockages or difficulties in maintenance during its use???
