The wet basis includes water. That is, the result of the flow of capital itself. The dry basis excludes water; for example, the dry basis composition of a certain component is obtained by removing the water content from that stream.
Are dry basis and wet basis also used in the gas phase? So should we subtract water vapor?

For gaseous substances containing water, the dry basis composition is the composition after water has been removed, while the wet basis composition is the actual composition, which includes water as well.

Yes, in some software, the material balance tables are automatically calculated on a dry basis; for example, in HYSYS, haha
