How can files created with Aspen Hysys v7.0 be opened in V6.0?

As the title suggests, how can files created with Aspen Hysys v7.0 be opened in V6.0? Thank you.
It can only be done through indirect methods. In higher versions, it can be exported in XML format for use in lower versions, but there may be some compatibility issues. In version 2006, it is possible to export files in XML format using Simulation->View XML, and such files can be used in versions 2004 or 3.x. Version V7 has not been tested yet, but it definitely supports XML output.
Thank you. I thought XML was related to Excel. But I tried it just now, and when using version 7.0 to convert to XML, it kept giving an error message. I’ll give it another try when I get home tonight
I’ve tried before to use a lower version to open models created with a higher version; it does open them, but a lot of the data gets changed or is simply missing... I suggest installing the higher version directly to avoid all this hassle :)
I mainly wanted to communicate with a classmate from another place; he has version 2006 installed, and I didn’t expect the versions to be so incompatible with each other. I tried it yesterday; it’s possible to save XML files using version 2007, but when trying to open these XML files with version 2006, there are still problems – many elements cannot be found, so it wasn’t successful.
