Why is the water in the venturi scrubber started to be used after feeding begins? ? ?
This question has already been asked; it is to prevent damage to the venturi caused by low pressure and high flow rates.
For the Texaco technology, where does the gas and pressure come from if no feed is supplied? This water is mainly used to moisten the fine ash carried in the raw gas; without adding this water, the pressure cannot rise. When a vacuum pump is used to create negative pressure, this water will flow back into the vacuum pump, which severely affects the creation of negative pressure in the furnace. Can the furnace still be dried in such conditions? After feeding the material, the extractor is blocked, pressure rises, the start-up flare is activated, and quench water begins to be supplied. I think this is why the original poster asked why it needs to be operated after feeding the material; in other words, why it doesn’t work if operated before feeding the material! What is the function of the Venturi? The suction mechanism should be turned off before feeding material; it has nothing to do with negative pressure. As a result, water cannot flow back into the starting suction device. In fact, once you think about it, everything becomes clear.
