SH3501-2002 Petrochemical Toxic and Combustible Media Pipeline Engineering Construction and Acceptance Specifications The following conditions must be met for air pressure tests: 1. Pipe systems with a nominal diameter less than or equal to 300MM and a test pressure less than or equal to 1.6MPa. 2. Pipe systems with a nominal diameter greater than 300MM and a test pressure less than or equal to 0.5. 3. Pipeline components of brittle materials that have not passed the hydraulic test shall not participate in the gas pressure test of the pipeline system. 4. When a piping system that does not meet 1> and 2> must be replaced by a pneumatic test, all its welded joints must pass non-destructive testing. Article 3 is a mandatory requirement and must be followed. Test pressure = 1.15 design pressure.
