Custom line style file compilation

How to customize line styles in CAD? I checked the help documents in CAD; they describe very simple definition methods, but they aren’t what I need. What I want to achieve is to draw a straight line, and then have circles or triangles, or other shapes, appear. Please, experts, help me out!
Refer to the book \"AutoCAD2000 Customization and Visual LISP Development Techniques\", published by Tsinghua University Press, authored by Li Xuezhi. 1st edition, May 2001. It contains detailed program parameter files, scripts and slide files, shapes and fonts, line styles and fill patterns, as well as customization of dialog boxes and menus. After learning this, you can even define a line pattern with your name appearing at regular intervals! By the way, I don’t have the electronic version; you’ll need to find it on your own.
