How is the IDAN project in Hepu, Sichuan progressing?

This abbreviation is quite unfamiliar; I’ve looked up relevant information so that everyone can be informed: Imidodiacetonitrile (IDAN) has a Cas number of [628-87-5], an MDL number of --, MFCD00001887 as its identifier, a Beilstein number, and an EINECS number of --211-058-3. Its molecular formula is C4H5N3； HN(CH2CN)2 has a molecular weight of 95.10; it is also known as aminonaphthalenecarbonitrile. Its molecular structure is as follows. In terms of physical properties, this substance appears as a light yellow to brown powder, with a bulk density of 0.6–0.7. It is soluble in water (with a solubility of 6–7 grams at 25°C), and it dissolves easily in organic solvents such as acetone. Solubility in water: 380 g/l (50°C), 50 g/l (20°C). Melting point: 78°C. Quality standards: Appearance – light yellow to brown powder. Identification via infrared spectroscopy – matches the reference standard. Purity – ≥95.0% (by total nitrogen method). There aren’t many technologies available for IDAN at the moment; especially for large-scale production, only the continuous process can be used. But with the market being sluggish now, many must have stopped.

There aren’t many companies in China that deal with IDAN these days, right? I wonder if any fellow sailor would be willing to tell me which factory is producing IDAN and what its production capacity is Thank you!

There are many companies that produce IDAN, and the largest one at present is Unisplendour International in Chongqing, with a production capacity of 20 WT per year, accounting for 70% of the national market share. The production capacity of Sichuan Chuhua Hepu is 4 WT/year; it is currently under construction and is expected to come online in the second half of the year.

Planned to go into operation in September; construction is currently underway at full speed
