I am currently working on a HONEYWELL PKS R310 project, and I’ve encountered some issues with the runtime daemon. I would appreciate some advice from those who are more experienced. 1. When installing the server, if the dongle is plugged into a USB port, it must remain in that port while the server is running; if it is plugged into another port, it will not function. :Q :funk: :@ 2. After running the flowchart, I noticed that all the places where Chinese text should be displayed (other than on the flowchart itself) showed question marks. I guessed that it might be because the WIN2003 Server system wasn’t set to use Chinese language; after making the necessary changes, the server stopped working again every hour – meaning the monitoring tool stopped functioning as well. I had no choice but to restore the system using GHOST in order for it to work properly again. :Q :funk: :@ These two problems are likely caused by the same reason; please help everyone out. Thank you first! :handshake :handshake :handshake
I really want to know too; please help me out:loveliness: :loveliness: :loveliness:
The running dog wasn’t connected directly during server installation (I guess few people install it in this way; instead, the server is installed in advance and then the running dog is connected on-site for debugging), so it’s hard to say anything about these issues. You can try reinstalling the server without connecting the dog; there should be no problems.
When installing the server, the dog must be present; otherwise it won’t work at all. According to HONEYWELL’s staff, this is because certain data needs to be written into the dog during server installation. So it’s definitely impossible to run a server without installing a dog module.
This problem has been solved.:lol I used the ultimate solution: reinstalling the system and PKS. After installing WIN2003 SERVER, I first set up the Chinese font characters, and then installed the PKS software, which resolved the \"question mark\" issue. Once again, thank you all for your help.:handshake :handshake :handshake
