I would like to ask: when the methanol content in the process stripping tower is too high, how do the alcohol-containing vapors that are generated react in the conversion tubes of the conversion system? Does it have an impact on the process? Does it affect the water/carbon ratio?
The methanol content in the stripping tower is very low; even the methanol present in the steam that enters the steam distribution network is minimal, so it basically has no impact on the water/carbon ratio. Personal opinion. I think the methanol content in the wastewater coming from the distillation recovery tower in the stripping tower is already minimal; it mainly contains some high-boiling-point compounds.
