Is the installation direction of the butterfly valves for the cooling water inlet and outlet opposite to, or the same as, the flow direction of the cooling water? Why do I see that some butterfly valves on the cooling water are in one orientation while others are in the opposite orientation? ? Find 999
Personally, I think the installation of butterfly valves has little to do with the flow direction of the cooling water. Generally, the return water pipes are installed side by side; different flow directions are likely due to considerations regarding installation space and ease of operation. Agree with the second-floor opinion. Butterfly valves usually have on/off indicators, and the valves should be operated according to these indicators in practice.
