Desulfurization of coking dry gas: Dear experts, what is the typical hydrogen sulfide content in coking dry gas before desulfurization? What is it after removal? Before treatment here, the level was 40,000 PPM; after treatment, the level remained high at 300 PPM. The concentration of ethanolamine is 27%, with a hydrogen sulfide content of 0.6% in the lean solution and 0.2% in the rich solution. The circulation volume of ethanolamine is 40 tons. That’s impossible. The key to the hydrogen sulfide content before desulfurization lies in the sulfur content of the raw materials and the amount of dry gas produced during cracking. Generally, the desulfurization efficiency needs to be considered in conjunction with factors such as the regeneration efficiency of the amine solution, the circulation rate, and the amount of feedstock (as well as its sulfur content).

There are problems with regeneration; it is recommended to increase the temperature at the regeneration tower and improve the filtration of the lean liquid to prevent bubbling
