During the flushing of the oil system pipes, the 200-mesh temporary filter remained very dirty. However, after several replacements, the pressure in front of the mesh failed to reach the pump’s closed-head pressure or the pressure required to break the mesh for a long time. I want to save some fuel by waiting until the pressure is higher before replacing the filter. I also thought that it might affect the flushing flow rate of the oil. I’m not sure if this is the right approach Or maybe there are some things we haven’t considered or other good ideas. It would be better to have standards; moreover, the temporary lines for oil flushing do not take cooling into account – after just one hour of flushing, the oil temperature already reaches 70 degrees. The pump might be a bit too large, and there is no outlet valve to control the flushing pressure. What do everyone else do?
We added a filter next to the fuel tank back then, to draw the oil directly from the tank and filter it. It’s equivalent to having the filtering system in the system as well, meaning two systems are used simultaneously; this works particularly well during the initial stage of oil flushing.
It may be effective for unpickled mailboxes or pipes. Normally, unless your temporary tank is a CS one
When considering oil flushing, flow rate and temperature are taken into account; when the Reynolds number is greater than 4000, the oil is in a turbulent state. The lowest temperature is calculated, and heat exchange yields better results, thus allowing for the setting of an upper limit for the oil temperature.
