How can PRO/II 6.0 open files created in version 8.0? In other words, is it possible to save files in PRO/II 8.0 in a format that can be opened by version 6.0? Thank you.
It’s quite troublesome! Strings are generally used, edited into an INP file for import. There are slight differences between the strings of version 8.0 and 6.0; INP files from version 6.0 can be read successfully by version 8.0, while INP files from version 8.0 need to be modified when imported into version 6.0.

Hehe, I’m trying this out as I go. I think the best way is to export it as an .inp file; then you can import it into the version you need. Just use File->Export->Simulation Data to Keyword File, and when needed, use File->Import.
