As the title suggests, it would be great to have images. Additionally, please provide a textual and visual explanation of floating ball valves and fixed ball valves as well. Thank you
In the event of an issue in the valve chamber, the direction of pressure release is as follows: for floating balls, pressure is released from the upstream side. Fixed ball: Pressure relief from downstream. Since I can’t upload files, this is the only option I have; please forgive me.

In a floating ball valve, the ball can move freely; when the valve is closed, the system pressure pushes the ball downstream, thereby creating a seal at the downstream seat, while the upstream seat is pushed open, allowing pressure from the intermediate chamber to be released upward. In the case of low-temperature media or light components, an exhaust hole is drilled between the ball and the intermediate chamber. In a fixed ball valve, the ball remains fixed while the seat can move; when the pressure in the intermediate chamber rises above the preloading force of the seat, it pushes the seat ring open, allowing fluid to flow toward the lower-pressure side (usually downstream). There are also DBB ball valves on pipelines – in such cases, the pressure in the intermediate chamber is not sufficient to push open the upstream and downstream seats, so the fluid can only be discharged outside through the exhaust ports on the valve body.
