Low temperature carbonization wastewater treatment

The biochemical method used to treat coking wastewater is only for wastewater with low COD content and relatively high BOD content. However, the COD content in our company's low-temperature carbonization wastewater is much greater than BOD. The design institute said that biochemical methods cannot effectively treat this type of wastewater. Do you have any good solutions?
