Why does the boiling range of catalytic gasoline often become dry at 90% during distillation?
The dry point of the gasoline distillation range is the highest temperature of the vapor phase at the time of evaporation to dryness; if only 90% has evaporated, this may be due to leaks at the connections in the distillation equipment, or it could be because the temperature remains high after cooling, allowing the lighter components to volatilize
