For the demineralized water used in 3.8MPa boilers, all parameters are within acceptable limits except for hardness; the sodium ion level in the steam is 200-400 units above the standard, and the oxygen content is also above the specified limit. The temperature of the thermal deaerator is 104 degrees, while the pressure is 0.2. I’m not sure what the cause of this is. I would appreciate advice from those with more experience in this field. For 3.82 MPa medium-pressure steam quality, only two parameters are controlled: sodium and silica. Is the silica level within acceptable limits? If silica is within acceptable limits but sodium is not, it is related to the trisodium phosphate added that ends up in the steam. This indicates two problems: first, the efficiency of steam-water separation is poor, and second, the level of phosphates is too high. Reasons for poor steam-water separation include high water level control, damaged steam-water separation equipment, and overloading of the drum. The phosphate level can be kept slightly lower; as long as the pH value is within an acceptable range, trying to keep it around 5 mg/L to see the effects. Unqualified hardness? By how much is the hardness too high? The requirement for medium-pressure systems is less than 2 micromoles per liter. How is the pH level of the boiler water controlled?
