For pipes with a design temperature of 300°C or lower and a nominal pressure of 2.5 MPa or less, flat welding flanges should be used; For pipes with a design temperature greater than (300)°C or a nominal pressure of 4.0 MPa or higher, butt-weld flanges should be used.
