Are there any silicon sensors for measuring negative pressure?
What is a silicon sensor? Please give me some guidance
Transmitters for measuring negative pressure certainly exist. The silicon sensor you mentioned is likely to be a diffused silicon pressure sensor.
There are transmitters for measuring negative pressure ranges, and they aren’t expensive; domestic ones cost just a few hundred yuan
If a high level of vacuum is required, use an absolute pressure transmitter! Did someone upstairs say that a few hundred yuan is enough to buy a transmitter? Without HART, right!
What I want to ask is about absolute pressure sensors made of monocrystalline silicon or diffused silicon that are used to measure negative pressure, not transmitters. Thank you!
I’m puzzled – I don’t see any fundamental difference between pressure transmitters and pressure sensors. It’s frustrating; I still lack sufficient knowledge on this topic. I only know that a pressure transmitter generally consists of a piezoresistive sensor and a signal conversion module. The core component of the sensor is a single-crystal silicon wafer; when this wafer is under pressure, its resistivity changes. Through semiconductor processing techniques, four resistors are created on the silicon wafer, which are connected to form a Wheatstone bridge. Under a constant current, this setup can generate a voltage signal that is proportional to the pressure signal. The voltage signal from the sensor is then processed by the signal conversion module, and converted into a 4–20 mA standard signal. I don’t understand; I’m puzzled
The pressure compensation signal received by my field instrument is in mV format, using a 4-wire configuration: 2 signal wires and 2 current supply wires. The voltage transformer signal cannot be used.
