Hydrogenation oil has its non-aromatic compounds removed through extractive distillation; what analytical criteria must be met for these non-aromatic compounds to be considered acceptable?
The less benzene present in non-aromatic compounds, the better. Some factories have a benzene content of around 10 percent, while others have around 30 percent; our factory currently has a benzene content of 60 percent, and yet we still proceed with production. I see that others take measures to control their benzene levels – it’s really impressive, haha
It is well controlled, with a benzene content of less than 10%.
