In the process of reprocessing diesel, at which stage does the diesel odor arise? Experts, please provide an answer. Thank you
The diesel odor of reprocessed diesel comes from the catalytic device; it is the smell emitted by the aromatic compounds present in it； Diesel produced by hydrogenation units will still have a diesel-like odor if the aromatics have not been removed or saturated. Secondary diesel mainly refers to coker diesel and catalytic diesel; these types have a strong odor due to unsaturated hydrocarbons, but this odor can generally be significantly reduced through hydrogenation
