How are the design pressure of the liquid ammonia storage tank and the opening pressure of the safety valve determined? How is the design temperature determined?

Since the critical temperature of ammonia is below 50 degrees, when the equipment does not have insulation, the design pressure is taken as the saturated vapor pressure at 50 degrees; when it does have insulation, the design pressure is taken as the saturated vapor pressure at the highest operating temperature. The opening stress of the safety valve should be less than or equal to the design pressure.

The poster is referring to liquid ammonia, which is used in adiabatic vacuum cryogenic containers. The use of the saturated vapor pressure at 50°C on the specification sheet is based on the design pressure for storing liquefied gas at room temperature. . So I don’t think what’s above is the correct answer, although I don’t know what the correct answer is:(
The table in the tolerance specifications specifies the operating pressure, not the design pressure.
