Hello everyone! I am a freshman. Do I need to start the lock bucket circulation pump when testing the lock bucket water pressure?
Why is it necessary to add high-pressure gray water to the quench water pump?
You can start or not lock the hopper circulating water pump. It should be noted that if you want to start the locked hopper circulating water pump, you cannot start a large cycle, and you can only open the program-controlled circulation valve. There are blind spots in the pressure test pipeline (the lock bucket pressure test and the gasifier are generally two separate entities).
This pipeline is also called the Texaco pipeline. When the quenching water pump fails (the quenching water flow rate cannot be guaranteed after the backup quenching water pump is started), when the quenching water flow rate is lower than a certain value, the valve is opened to temporarily supply water to the quenching ring. In addition, in terms of power distribution, the power supply of the high-voltage gray water pump and the power supply of the quenching water pump are not supplied together.
Is it possible that the purpose of installing this pipeline in front of the quench water pump is to prevent the pump from cavitating due to excessive pressure relief after stopping, causing the pump to be unable to measure, or to prevent the pump from being evacuated? This is just my idea. :)
The Texaco pipeline is after the quench pump and is a pipeline that directly connects water to the quench pipeline before the filter. It is basically not needed. If the original drive-in dryer uses gray water or raw water and wants to use the filter, it can pass through this pipeline, but I personally feel that it is not necessary.
The function of the pipeline in front of the quench water pump is to prevent the pump from cavitating due to too fast pressure relief after shutdown and making the pump unable to measure! The function of the pipeline behind the quench water pump (we call the Texaco pipeline the accident quench water pipeline) is mainly to prevent problems with the quench water pump and when the flow rate is low, the high-pressure gray water pump can be used directly to replenish the quench water to the gasifier.
It seems like we haven’t used the Texaco line since we started driving.
