I just got the interview notice from their company. I checked their website, where it says they are among the top 100 companies in the field of surveying and design. After checking, I found that only the Northwest Surveying and Design Institute of the Electric Power Company is on that list, ranked 39th. I’m not sure if this is indeed the same company, nor do I know what the prospects for this company are! I majored in chemical engineering, and they asked me to apply for a position in the materials laboratory, saying it involves research on polymers. I’m confused!
This is definitely not the same design institute as those for electricity; the ones for hydropower are not as good as those of State Power Corporation! I used to work at a water and electricity construction company, but a design company must be better! Make your own decision!
I asked their HR department today, and they said that China Hydropower Engineering Corporation originated from an **electricity company; the Northwest Survey and Design Institute, which is ranked 39th, is part of their organization
