We use three-effect countercurrent falling film evaporation, 1.0MPa steam, 0.6 tons of steam per ton of caustic soda. I made a rough estimate. The steam consumption mentioned by the poster is 0.78 tons/ton, and the steam pressure should be 1.0MPa.

Theoretically, the water vapor consumption of 1 ton of double-effect steaming is about 0.6-0.65 (page 188), but the steam pressure is not mentioned here.

Our company has an ion membrane scale of 100,000 tons. We currently use Swiss Bertrams three-effect medium-pressure countercurrent falling film evaporation technology. The production consumption quota is: 540kg/t orosine, through actual operation and exploration, there is still some room for reduction in steam consumption. We are currently exploring and exploring in this regard.
Our company's evaporation alkali production (32%-50%) adopts a double-effect falling film countercurrent process, and consumes 0.75T of steam per ton of alkali.

The steam consumption is related to the temperature of 32% alkali solution. The steam consumption of the evaporator is relatively low when it comes directly from the battery tank. Usually, the alkali from the battery bath is stored in a relatively large alkali storage tank and then evaporated. At this time, the alkali temperature is low and the gas consumption is relatively large. I don’t know what the temperature of 32% alkali entering the calculated gas consumption is. I think it is much greater than ours. We only have 0.6T steam/ton of alkali?
Is there any company that specifically designs this process? We are also going from 32% to 50%. I don’t know who to look for to design it. I kindly ask for your recommendation.
