In actual operation, when the system is running stably, what is the typical liquid level in the water tank? For example, what fraction it is, or give a specific figure. This water level must be maintained, as there needs to be enough water in case a device stops operating or during processes such as backwashing and regeneration. Or there must also be an adequate supply of external water. What do everyone else do? Because what I mainly asked about was the water tank in the boiler’s chemical water system. So it was placed in the boiler area.
This issue is likely related to the capacity margin of the water tank, or rather, the capacity margin of the demineralized water system. Here, for the original system with an capacity of 200 m³/H, two demineralized water tanks with a capacity of 500 m³ each were designed. The redundancy provided by this system ensures that the entire plant can have access to water for 5 hours in the event that the demineralization units stop operating. Typical demineralized water treatment systems come equipped with a backup system; a storage capacity that provides a margin of half a day, or 4 hours, should be sufficient. The relevant specifications have not been checked; this is based solely on experience for the original poster’s reference.
Thank you for the reply. Your water tank still has a large capacity margin; standard specifications usually require only one or two hours’ worth of water.
It is generally better to keep the water level in the tank at a higher level, such as 80% or slightly lower, with the aim of avoiding water leakage; low water levels should not be maintained!
