GB50160, version 99, specifies the distance between petrochemical enterprises and surrounding facilities. How should residential areas be defined, and are there any limits on the number of residents?
There are no specific numerical requirements! We generally understand it as a larger residential area! Not within the industrial zone!
There are three or four households living next to the enterprise, and it’s really tough to deal with a fee of 50,160; the safety supervision agency follows the evaluations provided by those assessment agencies, which makes things difficult.
This is indeed a very troublesome issue. Some factories were originally built in areas that were empty, but as more enterprises emerged, many shops, restaurants and other commercial buildings as well as residential structures moved in here one after another, resulting in insufficient industrial hygiene distances for these factories. As for how to solve this issue, it ultimately depends on the local safety supervision departments and local authorities; even if a company moves, similar problems will arise again in no time, and moreover, moving a company is not practical. Therefore, **stricter regulation of the approval process for civilian buildings surrounding factories is needed; just as internet cafes are not allowed within a certain distance around schools, this would solve the problem!
I’m not sure how this is defined; it seems that in the context of hazardous chemical handling facilities, a “highly populated area” refers to an area with 300 households or more than 1,000 residents. Three or four households could be referred to as “sporadic individual farmers”, right?
Three or four households should be referred to as civilian buildings.
Three or four households should be considered a residential area, and it should comply with the relevant standards.
