What’s your opinion on this story? Once, I read a report about a journalist who interviewed a child herding sheep in the west. The journalist asked, \"Why do you herd sheep?\" The child replied: To make money. The reporter asked: To make money for what? The child replied: To get a wife. The reporter asked: Why get a wife? The child replied: To have babies. The reporter asked: Why have babies? The child replied: Herding sheep. I was at home last night when I suddenly remembered this story and felt a bit sad. In fact, for us so-called city dwellers, isn’t this cycle of life exactly the same? I wonder if fellow netizens have ever thought about this question in the workplace? Isn’t it the same as your current job? Question: What do you do for work? Answer: To make money. Question: To make money for what? Answer: To get a wife. Question: Why get a wife? Answer: To have children. Question: Why have children? Answer: Work
At least when they kill sheep, they can eat the meat and drink the soup; we, on the other hand, have to settle for nothing after quitting our jobs. At least they can drive the sheep around, while we can only be herded around obediently.
I completely agree, which is why I posted a thread asking whether returning to the countryside to farm is a viable option
Do we feel that it’s due to differences in the quality of reincarnation, or is there some other reason that makes us so-called city dwellers feel superior to those in the countryside?
These days, when it comes to farming, people think of those who work with their faces turned to the yellow soil and backs to the sky – such thinking is quite backward. These days, there are more than one way to farm. The land remains the same, but since the farmers differ, the yields can vary greatly
Thank you to this fellow traveler. Actually, that’s not really what I meant; reincarnation is the focus of this topic. But when I see the hardships in the city, I really want to go back home – that’s another matter. I know it’s very unlikely to be possible to return home and work in farming now, but sometimes, when I’m feeling down, I have many fantasies. Maybe I’ve gotten a bit sentimental as I get older
I thought it was something related to reincarnation in past lives. .
In fact, life is just a simple repetition!
I mean, sometimes I think about it: what is the purpose of working?
Life is inherently repetitive, but the goal is to make it more interesting and less monotonous. What’s most important is to enjoy the process of striving
The words may be rough, but the truth remains; it’s indeed that truth.
There is a reason why the Earth is round, and there is also a reason for the existence of the theory of cycles over thousands of years.
I wonder what the poet thinks about reincarnation? The poet is also full of passion for life; I wonder where that passion comes from?
I feel the same way, but, but, my knowledge is limited and I’m unable to break free from this cycle...
