I paid close attention and looked up information on this topic today. There are indeed many problems; the rules don’t allow it, but is it inevitable given the circumstances? It occurred to me that the system could be set so that points cannot be awarded between devices with the same IP address. It is said that the cleaning station supervisor is looking for that program. The same IP rating is an absolute red line on forums; do not test it.
It’s hard to say about such issues. In our office, we share one network; all computers have the same IP address. Or, due to insufficient computing resources, two people share one computer – how can we then distinguish between them?

Based on daily checks, many issues related to scores from the same IP address are identified, but most of these are occasional and normal scores. The cases that are addressed here involve members who not only share the same IP address but also give a large number of scores frequently, and who rate each other as well; only such cases are subject to action. In cases of minor issues, a warning is usually given. It’s inevitable to have similar ratings from people in the same organization, and this is different from malicious rating.
Hehe, I agree with the person above. In our company, over 400 people share one IP address, and at least 1/5 of them have worked at Shanghai Chuan; many of them are even moderators. It’s inevitable that there will be similar rating scores for everyone. What we need to eliminate are intentional or malicious ratings; normal and reasonable ratings are acceptable and should be permitted by the forum

Difficult! How can two users be the same person? What if one person uses two users to rate each other on two machines? What if the two of them praise each other?
I am in contact with a third-party feature provider; if it’s possible, we would like to develop this feature, as the principle behind it is not complicated.
Aren’t there no malicious ratings for different IPs? If ratings are to be given, then there should be no interference. Take a look and see if that’s the case. People rate those they like based on their own preferences and circles. There is no absolute fairness in the world, so stop using indirect insults
Many organizations share the same IP address, which indeed makes it difficult to resolve the issue; it would be best if members were more conscientious.
Both my home and workplace are on local networks, and everyone there is in the same industry; I wonder when I’ll come into contact with high voltage :o :(
