I use graphite coolers for PVC design~~ Could you tell me why graphite coolers are necessary? ? Can’t we use something else? ? What is the principle of a graphite cooler? ?

These processes all take place in an environment filled with hydrogen chloride gas, and graphite heat exchangers possess unique advantages in terms of resistance to HCl corrosion – advantages that even titanium cannot match. Moreover, the heat transfer coefficient of graphite is second only to that of copper and aluminum, and it is much higher than that of carbon steel and stainless steel. Therefore, it is natural that graphite heat exchangers become the preferred heating and cooling equipment in the PVC process.
