I don’t see anything difficult to handle; it’s just that the relevant sections haven’t been modified yet.
**There are regulations stating that companies have a one-year adjustment period, during which these two materials can be used interchangeably. And no procedures are required!
We are now facing a big problem: according to ASME CASE2506, 16MnR can be used in ASME products within certain temperature ranges. However, 16MnR has now been replaced by Q345R, but there is no notification stating that Q345R can also be used in ASME products. We just don’t know what to do I don’t know how other organizations handle such things.
It doesn’t seem to have much of an impact! I’ve fully adapted by now!
