Could the teachers please discuss the methods used for leak detection on various equipment in the high-pressure section of the urea plant, and what the effectiveness of these methods is?

Thank you to the teacher above for providing the materials. What I want to know is about leak detection for the equipment in high-pressure systems other than the synthesis tower, such as high-pressure ammonium methane condensers, high-pressure ammonium methane washers, stripping towers, etc. I’m not aware of any particularly advanced methods for leak detection at the moment
The leak detection methods for high-pressure ammonium methoxide condensers, high-pressure ammonium methoxide washers, and stripping towers can be the same as those used in urea synthesis towers; the principle of leak detection is identical, with no differences at all!
The principle is the same. Our synthesis tower uses online leak detection; if such systems were used for all other high-pressure equipment, the investment would be substantial. Therefore, leak detection tubes for on-site inspection are used instead, and this approach has certain drawbacks. Hence, we are looking for a simpler yet effective method for leak detection.
You make a very good point. So, how much does the investment in online leak detection for your synthesis towers amount to? Which company provides it?
Among the four high-pressure units, it seems that only the urea synthesis tower and the stripping tower require leak testing. Do the high-pressure scrubber and the high-pressure methamine condenser also need leak testing? Do these two devices come with manufacturer leak detection?
Similar to the stripping tower, the heads of the high-pressure washer and high-pressure condenser are subject to leak detection, while there is no such issue with the cylinder bodies.
In other words, high-pressure equipment generally has leak detection holes wherever there is a lining. Right? :lol :lol :lol
