It has been observed recently that since 2007, with the development of glyphosate, various regions have begun to launch chloroacetic acid projects. During the production of chloroacetic acid, large amounts of hydrogen chloride and mother liquor are inevitably generated. How can these be reused? Could the hydrogen chloride generated be used directly in the production of other products? As we all know, there are certain products that require hydrogen chloride; excess hydrogen chloride can then be absorbed using water. In this case, the process for absorbing hydrogen chloride emissions needs to be improved. How would it be best to make such improvements? Regarding the latter, as for the reuse of mother liquor, how can it be utilized in a way that requires minimal investment from the company while still yielding good returns?
Chloroacetic acid exhaust contains not only hydrogen chloride but also acetic acid, acyl chlorides, chlorine gas, and others.
