A few days ago, I visited a company where sulfuric acid storage tanks and liquid alkali tanks were located within the same protective dike. This issue was discussed before; it is allowed to store tanks in the same area, but certain spacing requirements must be met. Additionally, barriers should be installed between different storage tanks. After all, when going down for inspections, the actual conditions of the facility also need to be taken into account
There is no clear standard specifying that it cannot be stored there; I agree with the opinion from the second floor – by setting up a retaining wall, it should be possible!

It’s basic common sense: sulfuric acid and liquid caustic soda cannot be stored in the same storage area, as acids and bases are incompatible with each other.
