The function of the pumping ring is to pump the buffer fluid, barrier fluid in the sealing chamber, or the self-cleaning fluid in the pumping chamber back into the pipeline; it serves as an important driving force for circulation within the piping of the sealing system. As the name implies, its pumping mechanism is similar to that of a screw pump. 1. The pumping effect of the pumping ring should be significant; if you have an H74F available, you can follow its design ; The helix angle of the pumping ring threads is generally between 15 and 30 degrees ; The pitch should not be too tight nor too loose; 3-6 mm is preferable. The values mentioned above are based on empirical data and can be used as a reference ; The outlet of the buffer fluid or barrier fluid circuit should be located at the normal position of the pumping ring, to ensure that the pumping ring achieves optimal pumping efficiency; however, the radial gap between the pumping ring and the sealing chamber must not be less than 1.5 mm ; The materials for the 2 pumping rings commonly include copper, 314, etc. The design of the thread direction must take into account the rotation direction of the pump and the piping arrangement, ensuring that the pumped fluid flows from the inlet to the outlet.
