I have to go on a business trip this afternoon. The client has asked for a comparison of the advantages and disadvantages of vertical water-tube and fire-tube hot water boilers with a single boiler drum, as well as vertical water-tube boilers with two boiler drums. I have compiled some notes on my own, but I feel they are not comprehensive enough; I hope everyone can help me out.
Compared with water-tube waste heat boilers, fire-tube waste heat boilers in industrial applications offer advantages such as a higher circulation ratio, easier inspection and cleaning, a more compact structure, and safer and more reliable operation. Many production facilities around the world have carried out or plan to carry out technical upgrades to replace water-tube waste heat boilers with fire-tube ones.
