Handover of the desulfurization unit for Chuanwei’s 300,000-ton vinyl acetate project

　According to Sinopec News Network (He Chuan), on March 17, the desulfurization unit for Sichuan Weihui Factory’s 300,000 tons per year vinyl acetate production project was completed. This is the first such unit built to support the new project, and it prepares the facility for receiving raw natural gas. The project was overall contracted by Chongqing Chuanwei Engineering Company. Construction began on March 18, 2008, and was completed by February 28 of this year. After tasks such as construction, purging, pressure testing, cleaning, and individual unit testing, it met the conditions for commissioning.
